We are a global nonprofit organization dedicated to ending avoidable blindness. For the past 30 years, Cure Blindness Project has restored sight and hope by developing high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable eye care in underserved communities around the world. From sight-saving surgeries to training local doctors, we are building a future where everyone has the chance to see. Read our financial commitment at cureblindness.org/financials.

You can provide sight-restoring gifts in two easy steps:

Or to give by phone, call us at 1-888-287-8530 ext. 1

Email cards for your loved ones are delivered instantly! Physical cards are available for gifts over $250 and will arrive in 2-7 business days via USPS First Class.

To make sure your gift reaches the people who need it most, our team directs contributions to the countries and communities with the greatest need. We stay in close contact with our partners worldwide to identify urgent priorities, so you can be confident your generosity is making the biggest possible impact.

We are not able to track the individual journey of surgeries that are sponsored or other gifts given. This saves on cost and allows us to help even more people! However, you will receive updates about people who received gifts similar to yours. If you choose to sponsor an entire project such as a sight-restoring cataract outreach, a sub-specialty fellowship for an ophthalmologist, or sponsoring a primary eye care center, a donor advocate will be in communication with you.
